Science 10

Today we did some practice balancing equations.  We are going to have a quiz on this coming up on FRIDAY, Oct. 9th.  Practice problems are found HERE.   

 

Next we took notes on ENDO and EXO thermic reactions.  The notesheets are HERE and the power point is HERE.  Finally we completed our making silver lab.  You need to calculate the mass of copper used up and the mass of silver produced.  Show how you found there numbers.  

Homework:  Read page 140-145.  Do the purple textbook questions on page 145

Science 9

 Today we finished off notes on the Periodic table and BOHR models.  We wrote notes on IONS and Valance electrons.  Next we worked on THIS worksheet to practice electrons, protons, neutrons and IONS vs. ATOMS.

Today we got back a BUNCH of work!  Next we worked on our CELL ORGANELLE matching (see Friday's post), we also worked on our CELL MODULE questions- These are all due on Friday - the day of the cell test.

Today we practiced the balancing equations work from last class.  Check your answers with the keys below.  

Next we separated our silver from the silver reaction.   We will weigh the silver product on Monday.
