Environmental Science 12

 Today we finished off the weather notes and started on the Coriolis Effect.  See yesterday's blog entry for the power point.  We also watched the video below:

Next we worked on our El Nino assignment from yesterday.   

Next assignment:  Make a Climograph for Revelstoke and one for somewhere else in the world.  HERE is a website that explains what a Climograph is. 

Life Sciences 11 (Bio 11)

 Today we took our microscope quiz.  Next we got the textbooks from the library.  Finally we finished off notes on characteristics of Living Things.  The power point is found HERE. (started on reproduction, finished with homeostasis.)

Homework:  Find a picture from the textbook that speaks to you.  Write me a brief couple of sentences about why you chose this pic.  Or get creative and write a poem!)
