Today we went to the Remembrance day ceremony.  Next we took our quiz on angles of reflection.  Finally we started a video on the EYEBALL dissection and did some reading on the parts of the eye and answered book questions.  HERE are the questions from the lab.  The video below explains how to do the dissection.

Science 8

 Today we worked through REFRACTION!!  First we finished off notes on refraction.  These notes are found HERE.  Next we did the lab in the textbook on page 177.   

Next we took some notes on CONAVE and CONVEX lenses.  These notes are HERE.  We did THIS lab and turned it in.  See the videos below:

Today we started off with the parts of the digestive system.--THIS IS FOUND IN CHAPTER 14.   Power point is HERE and notesheet HERE.  Next we needed to colour the parts HERE is the colouring sheet.

Today we reviewed reflection on a plane mirror.  We did THIS worksheet.   We will have a quick quiz on Friday on angle of incidenc

Next we looked at concave and convex mirrors and did the lab:  Observing Images on page 187 of the text.  See video below for how light rays get reflected.
