 Today we continued on with the DNA notes by taking notes on transcription and translation.  (See yesterday's post).  Next we worked on the solute concentration of potatoes lab.  This is due tomorrow, but we will have time to work on it tomorrow:)

Environmental Science 12

 Today we worked on our Earth Day Fair projects, making sure to include in-text citations:) 

And we repotted some plants.  

Life Science 11

 Today we started the taxonomy unit by taking notes found HERE.  Next we used a dichotomous key to find the families of sharks.  We did part 1 of THIS assignment.

Homework (some review of evolution);  Read page 35-36.  Do concept Check page 37 #1a, 2ab, 3a, 5ab

 Today we worked on our Earth Day Fair Projects and we took our plant out to "harden off"

Life Sciences 11

 Today  we had some time to work on old assignments.  (See the blog posts throughout the week).  Next we watched part of "What Darwin Never Knew" documentary.  We also got some review worksheets for the Evolution Unit.  This MC one is found HERE and the written is HERE.    We are combining the evolution and taxonomy units, so you won't have a text right away when coming back to school:)

 Today we wrote our CELL MEMBRANE and TRANSPORT and ENZYMES quest.

Next unit is DNA replication and protein building.
