 Today we watched a video and took notes on Stratospheric Ozone.  The video is below:

Next we completed yesterday's layers of the atmosphere graph and answered questions about it.  The whole student note sheet is HERE.  You need pages 4-6. 

Anatomy and Physiology 12

 Today we took some notes on the properties of water and uses of water in the human body.   Make sure you get these notes from a class mate if you were away.  They are not all found HERE.  

Next we got everybody's favorite thing about biology!!  The module questions.  These are due at the end of the unit, but I will give you "bench marks" of where you should be each day to check on your own progress.  Modules are HERE.  You are responsible for Section A) part A and B (all of water and acid/base questions).  Read in the chapter 2.3 to help you with these.

 Today we had a guest speaker from Selkirk College's rural pre-medicine program.  They presented on different health sciences that you could pursue in higher education.  Next we work on our Scientific Method Worksheet (from yesterday) and turned it in.  Lots of good looking graphs out there!   

Environmental Science 12

Today we took some notes on the Atmosphere and Layers of the Atmosphere.  Note sheet is HERE and power point is HERE.

Life Sciences 11

 Today I collected:  Hypothesis writing worksheet and the reflection on a picture in the textbook.  

Next we finished taking notes on the scientific method and Characteristics of Living Things.   Power point is HERE.

Today we continued with our notes from last class.  We kept adding notes to THIS notesheet using THIS power point.- Up to but NOT including acid/bases.  Next we did THIS lab and turned it in (some folks left them lying around the classroom:)

 Today we got our textbooks, Yahoo!  Our first assignment from the textbook was to find a picture that "speaks to you" in some way and tell me why (in a couple sentences). 

Today we started taking notes from THIS power point on THIS notesheet.  (Up to - but not including THEORY) 

Finally we practiced some hypothesis testing by doing THIS practice sheet.
