Science 8

Today we did a quiz on changes in state of matter and DENSITY.  Next we did 2 lab and practiced lighting the bunsen burner.  Here are some videos below to illustrate the lab concepts:

Anatomy and Physiology 12

Today we practiced for the Circulatory/Respiratory Test by doing THIS respiration practice.  Answer Key is HERE.

Test is TUESDAY    Check back in the blog for practices.

Science 8

Today we reviewed DENSITY by doing THIS worksheet.  Make sure you complete #1-5 and do 3 other questions for homework.  Next we did a lab to determine which is more dense:  Cold Water or Hot Water.

Anatomy and Physiology 12

Today we went over the worksheet on the respiratory system.  The pages for this are found HERE, HERE and HERE.  Next we watched the documentary 65 red roses.

Make sure you practice respiratory system and circulatory system for the test on TUESDAY.  The practice test for circulatory is found HERE.  Answer Key is HERE.

Science 8

Today we practised our density calculations with THIS worksheet.  Next we finished off our lab:  7-7 Density Mystery by doing Part 2- Comparing materials.  Turn in this lab with a data table, graph and Analyze questions answered. Lab is on page 266-267

Science 8

Today we finished off notes on density.  These notes are found HERE.  Next we did a density practice sheet.  This is found HERE.  Finally we did the lab on page 266 in the textbook:  Density Detective.  Make sure you bring this lab back to school tomorrow.

Anatomy and Physiology 12

Today we did the cow heart dissections!!  First we watched the video below and then we dove in!

After answering the questions from the cow heart dissection, we watched the video below:

Next we watched two videos on high altitude effects on the body:
