Today we did some practice with phase changes.  Know the names of all changes of state and which ones need energy added for them to happen.  

Next we took notes on THERMAL expansion/contraction.  These notes are found HERE.  

Finally we did a lab on Thermal expansion/contraction.  This lab is on page 255 in the textbook.

Today we had a guest speaker from Selkirk College.  Thanks James!  He had some fantastic stories from lots of different phases of his life.  I haven't met too many people who have dissected ZEBRAS!!
