Today we did our OPTICS test. Well done everyone! We wrapped up optics.
Make sure you have turned in your optical dictionary!
Next we wrapped up the optics unit by building our own optical instruments. Fun times were had by all.
Finally we watched some videos about rainbows. The first one is university level, but so interesting!!

Friday: Quiz on the heart and path of blood flow through the heart.
Today we did a lab on pulse and blood pressure. Get ready to pump it up! Next we took notes on Systemic and Pulmonary circulation and pulse and blood pressure. These notes are found HERE and power point HERE.
Next we did a blood vessels worksheet. This is found below. Check chapter 12 for names of major blood vessels.

Today we worked on our CIRCULATORY SYSTEM!! - The heart and blood vessels section. First we took notes using THIS notesheet and THIS POWER POINT. Next we did Module A and B from HERE. Finally we watched the videos below to review some concepts:

Today we practice for our optics test (chapters 4, 5 and 6) coming up on Wednesday.
First we did THIS refraction review. HERE is the key. Next we worked on our OPTICAL dictionary assignment. This is found HERE.
Finally we watched a video to look at a weird experiment that was done to show how our brain "flips" the image we see.
