Life Science 11

Today students prepared their Distribution of Bacteria labs.   Next they took some notes on Bacteria.  These notes are found HERE.   Thursday is the TAXONOMY quiz.   

Students watched the video below and did 2 things you knew, 2 you learned and 1 question you have.

 Today we continued with our Digestive System Power point and hung up the posters from last week.   For homework you should be up to part F) Pancreas and Gall Bladder #3) 

Digestive System test is on Wednesday, November 27.

Science 10

 Today we went over Thermal Energy Worksheet and Thermal Energy Calculations.   Next we watched some Rube Goldberg videos below in preparation for making our own Rube Goldberg Machine on Wednesday.

Physics Test is next week on TUESDAY, November 26.   Your review Assignment is due on Friday, November 22.  Review is found HERE

Life Science 11

 Today we went over the topics for the taxonomy quiz on THURSDAY.  Make sure you have gone through the practice quiz and done the dichotomous keys and cladograms.  

Next Ms. Rodman started you off the Bacteria Unit by setting up your own lab on Distribution and Abundance of bacteria around the school.   You will have time to work on this tomorrow.

Today students worked on their taxonomy/evolution poster for a BC animal.  Next they watched the cladogram video below and did THIS cladogram worksheet and turned it in.
