 Today Ms. McLay gave notes on the immune system, COVID-19 (just for your info, no need to write down) and Protists.  The power point is found HERE.  Next the class went outside to collect pond water to look at on Friday.   Note sheet on Viruses was given out for review.

This week we worked on 3 bacteria labs:  Distribution of Bacteria, Staining and Observing Bacteria and Antibiotics vs. Bacteria.  There will be questions for all of these, but only the Staining and Observing Bacteria will require a formal lab report.  You will have time on Friday to work on these.

 During the double block the Biology 11 students:  1) Finished the guided notes started last class.  

2) Started some bacterial labs.  This involved making a streak plate with specific bacteria.  

3)  Did some practiced question on bacteria.  These questions are found HERE and answer key HERE.
