Today we practice for our optics test (chapters 4, 5 and 6) coming up on Wednesday.  

First we did THIS refraction review.  HERE is the key.  Next we worked on our OPTICAL dictionary assignment.  This is found HERE.  

Finally we watched a video to look at a weird experiment that was done to show how our brain "flips" the image we see.

Today we dissected the PIG!  We looked at their digestive system and compared it to our own.  Next we did THIS worksheet on insulin/glucagon feedback loop.   Use the video below to help out.

QUEST ON THE OPTICS UNIT:  CHAPTERS 4, 5 AND 6 ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH.   

Today we started with a review of parts and function of the eyeball.  This worksheet is found HERE.  Next we did the eyeball dissection!  Those cow eyes were beefy! (get it, beefy:) When completed we answered all the questions at the end of the lab on page 212-213.  These questions are the:  Analyze questions and Conclude and Apply at the bottom of page 213.  Finish these in full sentences and turn them in.  

Next we got a visual dictionary assignment found HERE.  This is due on Wednesday, November 19th and will help you review for the quest.
