 Today we watched the video below about HEART ATTACKS and answered the questions that go along with it found HERE.   (just the first 26 minutes) 

Next we worked on the Module Questions.  HERE is module.  You need to complete all of A) the blood vessels all of B)The heart: its structure and function.   C)Adult (normal) circulation (Omit #4 and #5). All of F)Blood components   Omit G) Capillary-Tissue Fluid Exchange and do H)The ABO blood Groups

Reminder that your FUNGI drawing and assignment is due tomorrow.   

Today we continued with PLANTS.  First we took notes on the entire plant kingdom.  Next we watched the moss video below.  Finally we finished off the MOSS LAB and started the moss questions found HERE.  These will be due tomorrow, but you will have some time to work on them in class.

 Today we had some "issues" with the cow hearts- so we will leave that dissection until next week.  Today we continued with the power point notes on cardiovascular system and blood and blood types.  Power point is HERE and notesheet HERE.  Complete the last section module H (we skipped a few to get here).  Finally we looked a the little piggy heart and lungs.  We also watched the video below:

 Today we wrote the Protist/Fungi Quest.  Next we worked on our Fantastic Fungi art/mushroom project found HERE.  This project is due on Tuesday, May 13.  Finally we watched the plant video below and collected moss for the start of our plant unit.
