Anatomy and Physiology 12

 Today we did a Kidney Dissection.  Make sure to turn in your drawings with the answers to the questions at the end.  We watched the video below and took notes on pH and hormone regulation with the kidneys.


We got some practice questions for Kidneys these are found HERE and answer key HERE.

 Today we continued with the Animal Kingdom by taking notes on the three worm phyla and then doing a mollusk dissection (Squid).  Power point notes are here (just the worm section).

 Today we took notes on codominace and incomplete dominance.  These are the non-mendial traits.  We watched the Amoeba sisters video and took notes.  Next we did THIS worksheet.

 Today we started the animal UNIT.  We watched the video below on animal development.  Next we started some notes found HERE on animal systems.  Homework:  Read page 116-118.  Concept check on page 118 #1-4.  Discussion #1 page 118.

Today we reviewed Punnett squares and genetics by watching the Amoeba sisters video below:


 We did THIS worksheet along with the video.  Next we did THESE practice questions and turned in.  For homework:  Read page 28-29.  Do questions #3, 4, 6 and 7 on page 39.
