Environmental Science 12

 Today we started off with the Climate Change Unit by looking at changes in Earth's Climate over time.  We did part of  THIS notes sheet with THIS power point.  

Next we looked at an estimate of our own carbon emissions using the climate hero calculator found HERE.  

and then did a short group activity calculating the carbon emissions savings by two school district employees.  Finally we looked at the project drawdown found HERE.  in order to choose several solutions that we wanted to explore on the local, provincial, federal or international level.  

Biology 11 (Life Science 11)

Today we finished off the invertebrates by looking at the Arthropod phylum and the Echinoderm Phylum.  Next we got a practice exam found HERE.  Answer key is HERE.   

Biology 12 (Anatomy and Physiology 12)

 Today we finished off our mini research project by summarizing our three articles and explaining how each article passed the CRAAP test.  Next we got a nervous system review and another EXAM REVIEW.

Today we finished off the brain section of the Nervous System notes.  Power point is found HERE.  Next we dissected a brain!!  Finally we worked on our mini research project found HERE.  Make sure you print off three papers on a chosen topic.

Today we wrote the PLANT UNIT QUEST.  Next we took some notes on animals and completed THESE questions using our text book:  (page 116-120)
