Biology 12

 Today we worked on our cell analogy assignment from last class.  Don't forget about the cell quiz tomorrow.   We talked about possible written questions like:  "Compare and contrast the smooth and rough ER, describe the journey of a protein from the nucleus to the cell membrane".  

Biology 12 (Anatomy and Physiology 12)

Today we did a red blood cell lab.  Found HERE.    Next block we did work on our cell module questions.  We got some practice questions HERE and answers HERE.  Finally we got THIS assignment we started today and will finish off next class.

Biology 12

Today we started our next unit on cell organelles.  We went through THIS power point and filled in THIS note sheet up to cytoskeleton.  Do the module questions (the second part - Cells)  found HERE up to Endoplasmic Reticulum #2.  

Biology 11

Today we took notes on Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes.  Next we completed our Plant and Animal Cell Lab found HERE.  Homework: Read page 14-16 answer concept check questions page 15.   

Biology 11 (Life Sciences 11)

 Today we wrote a quiz on the microscope.  Next we looked at plant and animal cells under the microscope and calculated actual size and magnification of our drawings.

Biology 12 (Anatomy and Physiology 12)

Today we wrote our first testerooo on Biomolecules.  Read chapter 3 in your textbook for a preview of what we will look at next week.  

Biology 12

Today we completed our macromolecule murder mystery lab.  This lab write up is due next week- Thursday, Sept. 29th.  Components for this lab report are: purpose, materials and methods, data and observations and conclusion.
