Today we reviewed for the Evolution/Taxonomy Test coming up on Tuesday, April 8th. Unit D and E from the text. Check yesterday's blog for the two practice tests.
The written Evolution Unit Review is found HERE. This is due on Tuesday.
Finally we looked at our bacteria and did THIS worksheet (2nd page only) to calculate the number of bacteria cells we would have after 8 hours.
Today we worked on our Earth Day Fair and submitted all the text so Ms. Wood could give it a peruse:)
Today we reviewed evolution and taxonomy. First we practiced Mendelian genetics with THIS worksheet and went over it. Next we worked on THIS evolution unit review (due Tuesday) and THIS practice test for evolution. Answers to practice test are found HERE.
We also started a lab on abundance and distribution of bacteria. Stay tuned for results on Friday.

Today we continued on with the DNA notes by taking notes on transcription and translation. (See yesterday's post). Next we worked on the solute concentration of potatoes lab. This is due tomorrow, but we will have time to work on it tomorrow:)
