Today we are doing the lab:  Reaction Time.  This lab is due with all the calculations at the end of class.  Nerve Impulse Diagram is due on Monday.   Practice for Nervous System was given out.

Today we did some radioactivity practice on types of radioactive decay and half life.  Next we talked about Astronomy and stars.   We started THIS assignment on Stellarium.ORG.   

Radioactivity quiz will be the day of the double block.   This star assignment will be due on Friday.

Today we took THESE notes on the steps in Urine Formation.  (last two pages).   Next we did a kidney dissection lab.   If you are away and excused, you are not responsible for this lab.  As an alternative, draw and label a longitudinal picture of kidney and well as a nephron.  This is on page 298-300 of your text book.    Urinary module questions were handed out.  These are found HERE.  We got some more practice for the exam found HERE.

Today we took some notes on Radioactive Decay and half-lives.  Next we did a lab on the half-life of cornium atoms found HERE.  Make sure you turn in the lab with your data table, graph and answers to questions on a separate piece of paper.

Today we took notes on how to write the three types of nuclear decay reactions.   The notes are found HERE.  Next we practiced the reactions by doing the first page of THIS worksheet.
