Today we took some notes on chromosomes and genes.  Next we got an assignment to complete by February 20 The visual dictionary of genetics.

Today we took some notes on Biomolecules.  Next we had some time to work on our buffer lab and complete the excel graph for the lab.

Science 10

Today we did a quick review of mitosis and meiosis.....What is the point?  Which ones are in body cells and which are in sex cells?    Next we took some notes on the structure of DNA.

Work to be turned in or completed for homework:  1) Graph based on Friday's lab of leg length and jumping distance.   2) TEXTBOOK: Read pag. 11-13 Do the "purple questions on page 11 and 13.

Science 10

This week we got our text books and data booklets and did a textbook tour and answered data booklet questions.  Next we we introduced to the scientific method and took some notes on the steps in the scientific method.  Make sure you can identify the dependent and independent variable in the scientific method.  We did the bubble gum lab to look at hypotheses and relationships between variable........who knew you could stretch gum 26 m!!!!!

Biology 12

This week we have been working on introduction to scientific method, chemistry review and the buffer lab.   We spent some time today on the lab tops writing up our buffer labs.   Make sure you use APA formatting.
