Biology 11 (Life Sciences 11)

 Today we went over our genetics problems from last class.  Next we took notes on evolution by natural selection and finally we watched a video on the five fingers of evolution.  Note sheet is HERE and video below.  Turn in variations in a population lab and read page 35-27.  Do concept check questions page 37 #1-6.  

Biology 12 (Anatomy and Physiology 12)

Today we took notes on DNA and variations and practiced Punnett squares first block.  Power point is found HERE.   We also watched the movie below.  Next block we did a lab on Natural Variations in a population.  This lab is due in for marks.  (not you Abby!  you get excused:)

 Today we worked on our cell analogy assignment from last class.  Don't forget about the cell quiz tomorrow.   We talked about possible written questions like:  "Compare and contrast the smooth and rough ER, describe the journey of a protein from the nucleus to the cell membrane".
