Today we went over the answers to the two invertebrate phyla worksheets.   We also watched the video below to help us review the invertebrate phyla.  QUEST on Thursday and you are allowed to bring the cheat sheet you are using for the exam.

 Today we finished off the notes on Echinoderms and Chordates.  These notes are found HERE.  Finally we got a BIG sheet to review the last three phyla of invertebrates.  This is found HERE.

Today we did a cut and paste meiosis activity.  Pick this up in class if you missed it.  Next we went over the practice test for genetics.  Answer key is found HERE.

Today we did the SQUID dissection.  We took some observations of the squid and completed the post-lab discussion.  The lab is found HERE.

We got a handout found HERE  for our squid dissection coming up on THURSDAY.  Next we had some book reading and questions:  Read page 136-140.  Do questions #1-7 (omit #5) on page 140.

Today we finished off the Natural Selection Simulation we started yesterday.  We also went over a unit review from DNA- evolution with THIS worksheet.  

Finally for homework/end of classwork:  Read page 46-49.  Answer purple questions on page 46 and 49.

 Today we got our mark sheets and went over some Punnett Square practice.  Next we did a worksheet to go along with the PHET Natural Selection Simulation.

Today we got a mark sheet and lots of marked work back.  Next we took notes on phylum Nematoda and phylum Annelida (Segmented worms).  These are found HERE.- starting on slide #20.   

We got THIS workbook to practice flatworms and THIS labelling page to practice annelida.
